ALPS is a natural gravity fed water filtration system designed to remove all types of contaminants from tap water via an eleven stage filtration process.
A natural, simple, easily maintained and cost effective filter for a consistent supply of clean, refreshing drinking water.
An excellent water filter, simple to operate and maintain, portable, with replacement components readily available.
Water poured into the top tank drips through a ceramic dome into a 6 layer cartridge, then flows out into the bottom tank.
The ceramic dome is a fine particle filter. The cartridge has various layers to absorb poisons and metals and add beneficial minerals.
The bottom tank has mineral stones to enhance the water, the outlet tap contains magnets to improve the water’s structure.
The unit takes up 300mm of bench space.
Manufacturer recommended filter changes is for the cartridge at 6 months or 1200 litres and the clay dome at 12 months or 2400 litres. A more realistic change interval when using council water is; the cartridge at 4 months for 1 or 2 persons or 3 months for a family; the clay dome at 12 months with a little cleaning if it gets too slow. At 12 months the mineral stones could be boiled in pure water then sun-dried and returned to the bottom tank to be changed at 24 months.
A reminder message will be emailed from clinic at the appropriate time for your unit.
Filters are commonly available in numerous outlets and spare parts are available from the manufacturer.
