Maritime Pine Bark extract is a nutrient dense, antioxidant rich protector of the heart and vasculature. These benefits are supported by its anti-inflammatory actions in tissue, organs and joints.
It was the source of pycnogenol, an isolated extract and a now obsolete term. The Maritime Pine Bark here is a full spectrum extract to provide the natural, balanced phytochemical profile of the original dry herbal material. It is rich in proanthocyanidins which are strong quenchers of ‘reactive oxygen species’, it has potent antioxidants with strong free radical scavenging activity.

Indications

- Common cold and influenza symptoms, asthma, bronchitis, sinusitis, upper respiratory catarrh.
- Rheumatism, arthritis.
Contra-indications and Cautions
Because of its astringent nature, which may irritate the stomach of sensitive individuals, it may be best to take maritime pine with or after meals to avoid minor gastrointestinal discomfort.

Pinus pinaster 1:2. Each 1 ml contains 500mg of dry herb.
Liquid extract in 60% ethanol. Use 5 to 10 ml weekly.
